Vancouver Climate

In general terms the Vancouver climate is mild. The city is protected by a mountain range and warmed by Pacific currents. The one thing that you can expect to see in Vancouver is rain, especially during November, December and January.

The other notable aspect of Vancouver's climate is the amount of daylight. The amount of daylight varies massively from January (8 hours & 20 mins) to July (16 hours).

If you were to classify Vancouver's climate it would be a maritime temperate climate. As such the climate is dominated by a polar front with overcast weather and changeable weather. Summers generally tend to be cool and winters are generally mild.
