If you fancy some more hi-octane entertainment you might want to try your
hand at go-karting. There are a variety of options available to you which
include the TBC Indoor Racing and Richmond Go-Kart Track.
TBC Indoor Racing is the ideal place to go if you facing letting loose on four
wheels. The indoor track is made up of a series of complicated hairpins, 90
degree turns and chicanes. Racing is available from Monday to Friday for only
$10. A race consists of an 8 minute head and a final race against 14 other
drivers. Corporate events are also available for upwards of 200 people. Real
time computer displays will let you know how you or your competitors are
getting on.
Richmond Go-Kart Track has recently gone through extensive renovations
and can now boast top class facilities. Among the facilities on offer are 12 kart
races on a ½ mile track, picnic grounds and a party room. Rates start at $10
for a 10 minute ride and while corporate bookings can be as much as $45 per
kart per hour.
It must be stressed that this is an activity not suitable for children until 10 and
will probably be enjoyed more by older teenagers and adults alike who have
some experience of driving.
